Matt Sandburg
Matt was born and raised outside of Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received Bachelor Degrees in both Economics and Philosophy. Matt then attended the University of Miami School of Law where he maintained a Dean’s Merit Scholarship for all three years.
Matt has spent his entire professional career in Sarasota practicing Criminal Law, where he: ・Has successfuly sealed and expunged hundreds of cases in Florida ・Practices Criminal Defense/DUI in Sarasota, Venice, and Bradenton since 2011・Is licensed to practice in both Florida State Courts and Federal Court in the Middle District of Florida・Spent over five years as a Prosecutor in Sarasota and over eighteen years practicing exclusively criminal law in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice・Serves as volunteer judge for Sarasota Teen Court・Served as President for Sarasota Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL, Sarasota Chapter)・Served as board president of the Epilepsy Services of Southwest Florida・Served as Barrister for the John M. Scheb American Inn of Court
